Austin Jones Submits Armus Guyton Late To End Dominant Performance At Fury FC 62
Austin Jones closed out his dominant performance against Armus Guyton in the third round, catching him with a triangle choke on the ground.
Jones’ win headlined Fury FC 62 on Sunday night from the Douglas County Event Center in Castle Rock, Colorado, USA.
Jones slipped in a triangle choke while on his back on the ground. Completely locking in the submission, Jones forced Guyton to tap out and end the fight.
Jones gained a lead against Guyton in earlier rounds of the fight, giving himself a lead that meant a finish wasn’t needed. He took him down many times and controlled him on the ground to win rounds.
Jones has now picked up two wins in Fury FC. He won his promotional debut late last year, scoring a first-round finish victory over Montrel James.
Guyton was coming off a win from just last month, submitting Bellator alum Pat Casey in the first round of a fight.
